Week 2

What a fun-filled week we had! This was our first week with DMIC in full effect. DMIC is a problem strategy used in maths!

Whilst a group is working with Miss Zinck the other group is working with Miss Henry. Here they are playing bingo, to build that quick number recognition. We have some winners in this class!

During math time we also have a chance for independent learning through play and worksheets. These activities are fun-filled with hands on learning experiences.

Team Aroha was on rubbish duty this week. It is so important we try to keep our school clean!

We stepped out of class to keep some writing inspiration which
also links with our statistics topic. We wrote a sentence about what colour car we saw on the road.

To end our week, we linked up with Aroha 3 to do some ball skills. We practised throwing (chest to chest and bounce passing) and catching.

Excited to head into week 4!
